Original oil & watercolour paintings

Paintings of places that feel like freedom.

Kate paints the seas, palms and mountains she carries home from her travels — in oil, watercolour and pastel. Every piece is a one-of-one original, signed and shipped from her studio.

The texture is the point.

Thick palette-knife strokes, layered turquoise glazes, soft watercolour washes — details a screen can barely hold.

About the prints

Where it comes from

Painted from memory — many oceans, one feeling.

Kate never copies a single view. Each painting gathers what stayed with her from the road — Caribbean water, Thai cliffs, the Spanish coast, the Carpathians — into one imagined place. Her travel photos are the spark; the painting is her vision.

About the artist

Self-taught, sea-obsessed, always on the road.

Kate taught herself oil, watercolour and pastel through years of practice. She paints what stays with her from the road — seas, palms, mountains — imagined rather than copied, to hold on to the freedom and calm she found there.

The studio

Only what she loves.

Kate does not paint to order. She paints the places and moments that stay with her, one canvas at a time — so every piece here is a true one-of-one that will never be repeated.
